Legacy of Determination

By the age of five, many girls are already beginning to doubt their potential, not only because of what they see and hear, but because of what they don’t.

Women have played a vital role in shaping Irish society, yet too many of their stories remain unseen and unrecognised.

To help change that, we’re launching a limited collection of shirts, T-shirts and pins celebrating the women who paved the way.

At the heart of the campaign is a historic moment: Ireland’s first official women’s international football match on home soil, played at Bluebell FC in June 1973. Our goal is to fund a commemorative plaque at the site, giving this pioneering team and their place in Irish history the lasting recognition they deserve.

A portion of every item sold will also go directly to the National Women’s Council, supporting their vital work for women across Ireland.

This is an independent commemorative design and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any sporting organisation.
